"out of our jurisdiction...but it's a gorgeous site"
Gothic grey stone church with steeple and peaked red shingle roof. Stone interior. Adjacent parking lot and town green. Walking distance from restaurants; short drive from fast food joints. Two doors into the lobby: one on the parking lot and one on the Close.
Sanctuary seats 700; has rear staircases, balcony access. Excellent acoustics; red-cushioned pews and stone floors. Usable as the great hall or performance space?
Library sits adjacent to the Sanctuary. Two-story ceiling, stone floors, high windows filled with light. Seats 100 at tables. Royal chambers?
Nursery adjacent to Library and Sanctuary. No seating; lots of toys. Dressing rooms?
Parish hall holds 500 at tables; three-story ceiling and performance stage - but lousy acoustics - with curtain. Stone floors and two-story windows. Adjacent kitchen. Doors open on the Close: a small garden. Open market? fencing area?
Event Hall on the third floor seats 150, is carpeted, with grey stone fireplace and adjacent kitchen. Small event? general meeting?
Odd classrooms and office spaces on the third floor. Dressing rooms? classrooms?
